Not only is it not the Zeta function, it is not analytic and cannot be made
analytic.
The reason for the convenction is much simpler and is found on the real line
not in the complex plane.
I answered sjb's question privately as did many others.
Do we really need to continue with erroneous commentary that could be found
in an elementary textbook?
