More on toast
Now there is the other kind of toast.  At sea we sit down for it, but
landlubbers stand.  The formula is that the captain utters the ritual
phrase "Mr. Vice, the Queen". The most junior officer must then 
repeat the ritual phrase "God save the Queen!" at which everyone is expected
to replay "The Queen, God bless her" and proceed to down the contents of his
glass.
