Andy answers
Here are the answers to my questions about the Andy Griffith
Show. I haven't heard all the answers from any one source, but
several of them did get answered correctly.

    1. Andy's mountain girlfriend: Charlene Darling.
       Don't you remember the Darling Family?

    2. Brick Thrower: Ernest T. Bass.
       "It's me, it's me, it's Ernest T."

    3. Gas station owner: Wally somebody.
       Goober (George Lindsey) did eventually own it.

    4. Barney's other woman: Juanita.
       He even wrote a song about her.

    5. The peanut-butter kid: Leon.
       I don't think he ever said a word on the show.

Two more related questions: What happened to Barney after
he left Mayberry? (where did he move to and what was his job).
And finally, what was the new character's name that took over
as Andy's deputy?
