Orange Chocolate Squares

Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine (softened)
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 egg (separated)
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tblsp grated orange peel
1 package semisweet chocolate chips (12 oz)

Do This:

Heat oven to 275 Fahrenheit.  Mix butter, sugar, egg yolk &
vanilla, stir in flour, salt & orange peel.  Spread evenly in
ungreased jelly-roll pan (15.5" * 10.5").  Brush dough
with unbeaten egg white, sprinke chocolate chips on top.
Bake for 1 hour.  While warm, cut into 2.5" squares.
