Please clean up the net
   This is a plea to clean up the net.  Please !  There are whole
sections of the net that are being watched by the payers of the
bills, and what shows now is not good.  The flame and flash content
of the past few weeks has far outweighed the useful.  Don't revive
the "db" stuff in net.cooks!  Don't send everything to net.general!
and, certainly, don't send anything to both net.general and another!
Put net.news stuff in net.news, net.records stuff in net.records, etc.
Show some consideration for others in the wording and content of
your submitals.  Try to make the net a useful exchange of useful
information and ideas, that will pay for the service and help people.
In other words, make the net a useful tool, not a place to expose yourself,
