DZ flakiness continues
The DZ controlling 24-31 flaked, so I took the sys down and brought
 it up again.
Strange thing happened after shutdown; I waited and waited and waited
  for a prompt and got nothing--disk activity had ceased completely, but
  it didn't seem to want to start a shell for single-user.
