Here at pur-ee, they made a change to biff, adding a "-s" flag (for shut-up
or something, I guess).  As usual, regular "biff y" will say "new mail from
Kilroy" and barf half the letter on your screen.  But, "biff -s y" will, 
when mail arrives, print:

		\n New mail from kilroy:<subject field><BEEP>\n

It makes things much nicer, particularly when you're looking at output from
a program, in more, news, etc.
