Problem with w
	We had this problem on one of our local machines and only
recently discovered the cause.  Both w and ps use the u_comm field
of the u structure.  The kernel, in its wisdom, only maintains that
field if accounting is turned on (with the ACCT flag).  That's clearly
a mistake.  The field is useful enough that it should always be
maintained.
