I once spent about six months working on figuring out an
algorithm for the Hebrew calendar.  I never did come up
with anything.  My best suggestion is to read the article
*Encyclopedia Judaica* (1972, Keter Publishing House), Vol 5
pp 43-54.  Also the index (Vol 1) has calendars from the
year 1920 to 2020 on pp 109-159.  If you get anything worked
out, I'd be very interested in seeing it.
