When I suggested that encryption could be used to provide security, I
proposed it as method to be used where desired,
not as a cure-all. It can also be used by individuals
or groups to implement a secure distribution if that is desired. In my
short article, I also mentioned that the "reaction mentality" of some of the
respondents to news items shows mostly an intolerance to thoughts not
of their own design.
