readnews- cancel bug?

I do an "su".
I "postnews" an article to newsgroup "test".
I "readnews -x -n test" and see the articles.
I try to cancel the articles with the "c" command.
It says something like "inews - No such newsgroup; aborted",
and gives me the article identifier.
I become my normal non-su self again.
I do the same readnews/cancel thing again, and this time it works.

This looks like an obscure one...
