In case there is anybody out there who used the V6 crypt(1) to
encrypt files, note that the V7 crypt(1) is quite different and the
two are not compatible.  V6 crypt(1) has been made available as
oldcrypt(1) to permit such files to be decrypted and then
re-encrypted with the V7 crypt(1).  Oldcrypt(1) will eventually go
away.

If anyone IS using this stuff, I'd be interested to know about it
(not what is being encrypted, but just the fact of use).  As far as
I know, I'm the only one affected.
