magtape saga continues
The magtape man was here again today.  He has readjusted the beginning-
of-tape sensor.  This does not seem to have cured the wind-off-the-end
problem, but it has reduced it a lot;  tapes that used to do it quite
dependably now do it only occasionally.  If we can get a reproducible
case of it, or if the incidence of the problem turns out to be still
too high, we will beat on him again.
