Some twisted about in several directions and even sent roots out of the soil. Data obtained is hoped to help provide information on how to grow plants in space. The Air Force says that future military shuttle missions will be restricted in the sense of what gets out to the public. Some things, like live TV beam downs, will be held off or restricted so that the public does not get an idea of what the military is doing. The astronauts themselves may be restricted. NASA does not like this, as it prides itself on its openness towards the public, buts high level talks are going on to discuss future possibilities.
