B news bug
There seems to be a bug in B news (2.3) whereby the .newsrc file gets
rewritten incorrectly.  I have seen a .newsrc file where a second
"options" line has somehow become imbedded in the first, and also a
.newsrc file where a newsgroup record (i.e., "general: 1-4") has
become imbedded in the middle of the options line.
