i have visited alf in denver, co and seen their new 8086 card.  it is into beta
testing right now and should be released to the general public soon.  it is a
very nice looking card with the entire
buss extended onto a connector.  this can be used by a card plugged into the slot
next to it - for example their new hires graphics memory/ dma card.  this allows
much faster graphics manipulation than with a standard system.  on the processor

card are several rom sockets.  it comes with a rom that includes high speed math routines and matrix transpostion stuff.
the price will be along the lines of a z-80 card from what i remember.
