The last word on toast (opps, I mean Pacman.)
Pacman is a Japanese slang word for a "voracious eater".  Atari now has
exclusive access to the name "Pacman", which was licensed from Midway,
who licensed the name from a Japanese company named "Nakamo" or
something like that.  All three companies are in the video game
business as far as I know.
