Murphy's Law's
Being the person who typed in all the fortunes in /usr/games/fortune for
4BSD and 2BSD UNIX, I have a plethora of variants of Murphy's Laws.  I
will be, however, restraintful and only submit (for the moment) my two
favorites of the moment:

All probabilities are 50%-50%.  Either a thing will happen or it won't.

Murphy's law applies to Murphy's law.  Washing the car in order to cause
rain will cause inordinately good weather.
