busted floppy drive
Floppy drive A is broken.  It makes strange noises whenever it is
switched on (which is why the floppies are turned off).  The noises
are much worse when there is a floppy in it.  There is also some
evidence that it is shedding particles of some sort onto the floppy.

Sometime in the next couple of days we will switch the current
Zodiac1 floppies for the ones on the 34 in Wern's lab.
