Concerning editing followups
It has been posted that a certain version of readnews
will drop you into the editor if the EDITOR shell
variable is in the environment.  Well I am running
some version of readnews on UNIX 4.0, and this idea
does not work.  How can I find out the version of 
readnews that I am running, and how can I get a later
version if that is the problem?
