In general, I tend to prefer direct distribution -- that is, the net.
format -- but in this case, I'd vote for the 'fa' mechanism.  If Usenet
was more reliable, and if readnews would present things in order of
submission, I'd change my mind; however, I find it very difficult to
follow discussions of quasars when I get a 4th-level answer before seeing
the original question.

The big disadvantage of the 'fa' mechanism is that folks have to know
to mail submissions in, rather than using 'inews' or 'postnews'; if that
were automated, I'd have no qualms whatsoever about sticking with 'fa.space'.
