CMU VLSI proceedings, optical mouse
There seems to be considerable interest in the CMU VLSI conference
proceedings in general and the Optical Mouse in particular, so here's
what I found out from my query a few weeks ago:

1. The CMU VLSI proceedings were published (promptly) by:
	Computer Science Press
	11 Taft Court
	Rockville, MD 20850  USA
	price not known

2. The optical mouse paper (or a very similar one) was also published
	in VLSI Design (formerly Lambda).

3. A more detailed report on the optical mouse, "The Optical Mouse,
	and an Architectural Methodology for Smart Digital Sensors",
	by Richard F. Lyon, August 1981, may be available from PARC,
	specifically perhaps via Mary Hausladen (Hausladen.PA@PARC-MAXC).
