Makefile bug
If you change your defs.h file, your Makefile will not recompile
the following: checknews, control (used in inews), recnews, uname, and uurec.
The fix would be to add .o dependency lines for them, but since everything
but sendnews, ftime, and getdate depend on defs.h (or params.h, which
includes defs.h), you might as well 'make clean; make'.
