Prize for Paranormal Abilities
I don't know whether Scientific American offers a prize, but James Randi
has for over 15 years offered $10,000 for a demonstration of paranormal
abilities under controlled conditions.  So far, no one has won.  For
details, see the April 80 Omni, p108, his book *Flim Flam*, or issues
of the Skeptical Inquirer.
