I don't really understand all this excitement over Kraftwerk, although
they are moderately interesting.  Personally, as far as strange electronic
stuff goes, Throbbing Gristle has my vote, and as far as electropop, or
whatever you want to call it, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, Orch.
Man., ... are more fun.
On the other hand, there's always the real minimalist stuff (e.g. Reich)
to either open your ears or put you to sleep, depending on your tastes.
