I am moved to defend the laws forbidding wire-tapping 
Maybe you didn't notice them being attacked.
But consider the case of somebody buying property near
the transmission path of a phone company microwave system.  
All arguments about 'photons entering my property' would 
seem to apply. 
(In fact, the rumor is that the Russians have done
this on a large scale.  But they can't be touched 
because of diplomatic immunity.)

I'm not taking a position on satelite transmissions.
I am merely defending the right of the government to 
regulate that some (not all) kinds of activities involving 
transmission of radio signals.
