Help for HELP(?)
Cliff again.  At the last SHARE conference (Los Angeles) there was
a meeting of people interested improving CMS HELP.  As you can
well imagine there were a lot of ideas.  A friend of mine at
UC San Francisco volunteered to compile suggestions for ideas
which may become requirements and get presented to IBM.

Everyone agreed that there should be online help for the product
error messages, like the "IHO218I  YOUR PROGRAM HAS A BUG"  Fortran
ones.  Everyone also agreed that CMS HELP's way of dealing with
ASCII terminals is nothing short of criminal...

Anyway, if you want to send me your suggestions, I can forward them
to my friend since our 4341's are networked together.
