ex on small 11's
	I haven't done anything to ex 3.6 yet to try to speed it up on
our 23.  I got a letter from ucsfcgl!katzung saying he had some kind of
version of ex 1.1 running unoverlayed (and fast.)  I don't know if I
want to go that far to get ex, especially with a 68000 based machine
coming in, but I am hoping he may have some overlay suggestions for the
newer versions.  As big as 3.6 is, there may not be ANY overlay
structure that will speed it up to a usable level.  It seems to do
overlay switches for every character is wants to toss on the screen.
This means that it is usable for sparse text like nicely written
programs, but awful for dense things like reports and documents.
