Which reminds me of two limericks I've heard somewhere:

	There once was a man who said God
	Must think it exceedingly odd
	  That the juniper tree
	  Just ceases to be
	When there's no-one about on the quad.

	Dear Sir, your confusion is odd
	I am always about on the quad
	  So the juniper tree
	  Will continue to be
	Since observed by, yours faithfully, God.
