Recording Equipment

I am looking for some equipment for my recording studio, and I would
like to know if anyone has any information about small recording
mixers. I need something like the new 4-output Tascam mixer, but I
would prefer more than four inputs and not having to patch for
mixdowns and redubbing. I would also like any information about the
above-mentioned mixer, especially the price (they say under $400, but
I'd like to see what it really sells for). In addition, does anyone
know how much the Roland Drumatix drum synthesizer is? It looks like
a nice little rythm box with some nice features, but magazines hardly
ever quote prices in ads. If anyone has ANY suggestions about recording
equipment for a 4-track studio (besides tape decks; we have two already),
please mail them to me.
