               Prof. W. R. Franta of  the  University  of  Minnesota
               will  speak  on  "The Microelectronic and Information
               Sciences (MEIS) Center  at  the  University  of  Min-
               nesota".

               ABSTRACT

               The  talk  will  explain  the  origins, organization,
               status and future of the  Centre.   Expectations  and
               reality will be touched on, as will the current tech-
               nical projects and interactions with other  organiza-
               tion.

               Coffee and refreshments will be served at 2:00 PM.
