Could you really recieve this thing all over the continental US?
If so, wouldn't that fry the receiving circuits of any AM radio within
about 100 miles? At close range (100 miles) wouldn't that kind of power
bleed over into *all* other Am radio frequencies? Is that 1 MW transmission
power continous, or is it just a few second burst? 
What is the other Civil Defense frequency (somewhere around 1400 KC)
