Research Abstracts Newsgroup

   I would be very interested in seeing a "net.research" group which
would be used to list abstracts from research papers "out there".  I find 
that there is a lot of work being done which I am interested in but which
may be internal to a company or may be a thesis not widely publicized.  I 
am particularly interested in finished works although this would also make a
good forum for people involved in ongoing work to request information/help.
   Surely there are enough universities and research centres on the net to
keep this group lively.
