We are now running with our new bus repeater installed and with the new
memory in.  Cross your fingers and hope nothing bad happens.  Substantial
performance improvement has been seen in trials, but bear in mind that
not all aspects of performance are improved.  In particular, the system
is not, yet, set up to make really optimum use of all that memory to
reduce disk traffic.
