backup hassles
Since Plessey still has not got off their behinds and fixed the magtape,
looks like no full backups this weekend.  I have cancelled the backup
messages cron(8) sends;  cp /usr/lib/crontab.prod /usr/lib/crontab
will reinstate them.

Whenever it is fixed, a full backup is first priority.  The best
thing is to just stretch the regular backup time, but if this turns out
to be impractical or inconvenient, Laura and/or Marcus will simply have
to pick an appropriate time and do it then.  Whatever time he/she/they
pick has my full support;  any inconvenience is regretted.
