The sharp-eyed in the netnews audience will have observed that the
latest batch included one article from a newsgroup, fa.arms-d, that
we supposedly no longer subscribe to.  How it got through is a mystery;
our shutoff at Duke is indeed in place, and several more recent items
in the same newsgroup (at Duke) got stopped by it.  Dunno why one got
through;  refuse to worry about it unless it happens repeatedly.
