Stupid news program
Friday night about 8pm, I was running the news program.
After I typed in q, it took about 4 minutes before I lost patience
and tried to get out of it by hitting control backslash.
For another minute, nothing happened. Finally, the message
"news system locked up" appeared and I got back to the shell.
What is going on? The system did not seem to be heavily loaded at
this time.
When I tried to send this gripe directly afterwards, it also took
4 minutes to give the "news system locked up" message.
The gripe did not get through.
Is the news program screwed up ??
