renovations
The renovations of 336 are moving along quite quickly, for the most
part:  the new walls are in, the electrician is almost finished with
the new power wiring, the raised floor is scheduled to go in Monday,
and the airconditioner is present although ducting etc. is not yet
installed.  The biggest problem at the moment is that the electrician
is having trouble getting some of the materials he needs.  Assuming
this clears up [a significant assumption] and nothing else goes wrong,
it looks like 336 may be ready for occupancy again in about a week.
If things go wrong, it could be considerably longer than that.

We will probably move Unix back to 336 as soon as 336 is really ready.
If the move back goes as smoothly as the move here, there should not
be too much disruption, except for one thing:  the dialup ports will
probably again be dead for several days until Bell shows up.  We will
try to minimize this by getting Bell moving in advance, but it's hard
to do this perfectly when we don't yet know just when the move will
happen (Bell wants plenty of advance notice).
