UNIBUS problems on new processors

I don't have an answer, but would like to add that I have heard rumors
that the UNIBUS on the 11/24 is not up to snuff, either; specifically
that it is slow. Can anyone give me more information on this,one
way or the other? We had planned to use an 11/24 to buffer a grafix
device from a VAX, and now don't know what to do.
