	In the recent past there was a reference in netnews
	to a book/article about the Data General Corp making
	a big push to get a machine out the door to compete
	with the Vax.  Does anybody know the name of the
	book/article or the netnews item that referenced it ?

	The book is  <<The Soul of a New Machine>> by Kidder, and it's supposed
to be out on Atlantic/Little-Brown Press, although I haven't seen it out here,
yet.  This may just be lousy West Coast distribution, since Little-Brown is
in the Boston area.  It was reviewed about 4-5 weeks ago in the Sunday NY Times
(the review was quite favorable) and it was advertised there about 2 or 3
weeks ago.

	The article was in the July and August Atlantic Monthly.
