data acquisition status
The current hope is that the data-acquisition hardware will be operational
again early next week.  The major delaying factor has been, and is, Wern's
time.  Of necessity, Wern has to give high priority to teaching-related
things, and this is a bad time of year for those.  And it doesn't help that
Wern was sick a good bit of last week (and is still perhaps a trifle shaky)
and now Wern's partner is home sick.  Data acquisition users:  please hang
in there, we're doing the best we can.
