RMS:  In an emotional sense, I agree completely with your frustration
at condescending systems.  However, bear in mind that today, unfortunately,
most of the people who make decisions about buying computers (especially
small ones, which erpresent the growth market) ARE stupid or scared
or both.  Like it or not, people like me who work for commercial
outfits have to cater to the folks with money in their pockets.
I still prefer EMACS.  But I doubt that I could sell to our (DEC's)
salesmen, let alone to our average customer...
