Besides the SEC, which has been posted on the net, there
are some "stateside" contests this weekend.  Below
is a summary.  These contests can be a lot of fun, and
sure can help your 5 band WAS.

MINNESOTA QSO PARTY

>From 1700Z Oct 16 till 2259Z Oct. 17 on 80 to 10 meters, both phone
and cw.  Work stations from MN once per band and mode.  Exchange
RS(T) and ARRL section, MN stations exchange RS(T) and county.  Suggested
frequencies phone:3.933, 7.233, 14.300, 21.433, 28.633, cw 33 KHz up from
band edge.

PENNSYLVANIA QSO PARTY

1700Z Oct. 16 till 0400Z Oct. 17 and 1300Z till 2200Z Oct. 17.
Exchange RS(T), serial number (starting with 001), and ARRL
Section.  PA stations exchange RS(T), serial number, and county.
Frequencies: phone 3980, 7.280, 14.280, 21.380, and 28.560, CW
40 KHz up from the bottom, Novice 10 KHz up from the bottom.
