Being a twenty-three year old bohemian (yes you curious 
perverts, my bones are brittle) at a largeish university milling
with blandly happy people i am often, i confess, lonely.  Sob-
shakingly nose-runningly lonely. Inasmuch as about the only
sensible thing to do when very lonely is to try to get mileage
out of it by being creative ( does anyone else agree that 
loneliness spurs creative thinking? ), i try to be creative.
Well, i have been pretty lonely tonight from 8PM to 10:47, and 
happened to find this very beautiful recursive definition of
loneliness. ( I am very big on recursive solutions )  Here
it is.
	lonely()
		that emotion aroused when one is
		among a number of people who are not lonely()

Isn't it pretty?  I'd write a little program to evaluate the
absolute loneliness potential of the world at infinity, but
the language i'd like to write it in, GODLIKE-11, won't be
available 'til 1984.
