Regarding the open letter to Gordon.  I hope this was an attempt at
humor.  If so, well, it didn't appeal to me.  If not, boy did it not
appeal to me!  My sympathies are with Gordon.

One needn't try to enhance the image of woman as vicious, vengeful,
and having a predilection for bringing others to public shame.
