By my account (5211), the first semi-sporatic USENET and assorted
others party of Greater New York was a smashing success.  Now as I
attempt to recover, I thought I might post some observations so
that if others trying such a thing they may avoid problems I ran
into.
1.  If you are going to bob for light bulbs, plan things ahead
so that you won't be removing the brightly colored machine
parts from the bath tub at the last minute.  Also keep the hackers
away until after the tub has been filled with gin, AND the light
bulbs are in their.  We had six hackers bobbing in the gin before we
found the lightbulbs.
2.  Don't worry about where the most strategic place to put the
garbage can is so that people will toss the empties there.  I found
that we had one of the most creative group of people at this party. 
We are still finding beer cans in the most obscure places.
3.  Be sure that you have plastic glasses.  It seems that hackers
like to crush their empty wine glasses in their hands, and glass can
get to be a bloody mess.
In closing, I would like to thank all who came, and all who
attempted to come.  Someone from Indian Hill flamed about my comment
about BTL people being able to make it, but to him I respond that
one person tryed to walk from San Diego.  Also, if there is anything
in net.singles that I should have responded to, but did not, it is
because pyuxjj is not passing on netnews to us right now, and they
are our only source.  YOU HERE THAT pyuxjj ? (* end flame *)
