IT IS TOO BAD THAT:
 
 Ellen had a rough time of it.
 
 She doesn't have a sympathetic, non-advice-giving listener to talk to.
 
 She turned to us for help in the form of letting out her frustration, since
 most of us failed her - she got jumped on hard, and was given much
 advice.

I have been on both sides of her situation, and recognize her need.
I know that the best way to take care of that need is to talk
with a sympathetic listener be it psychologist, minister, friend,
or whatever. Unfortunately, Ellen picked the net. The response
guarantees that no one else will ever reach out like that
publicly. I imagine most of you are glad of that - I'm not.
