   Interesting as the discussion of Ellen's vitriol casting has been,
I think the time has come to transfer the discussion to some other newsgroup
(perhaps net.ethics?).  The controversy seems to be distracting the 
participants from what is really the true and holy purpose of net.singles,
that is the discussion of ways and means of meeting MOTS (Members of the
Opposite Sex) or, less I be accused of being less than perfectly general,
MATS (members of the appropriate sex).  

Gentlebeings, let us return to the high crusade!
