Neglecting the 220V circuits and the ones running outside the machine room, the list of which breaker powers what looks like this (they are all 15A breakers): no. location powers --- -------- ------ 1 under floor tty40, Sanders 3 under floor Camac crate, RJE 05 5 East wall Versatec, card reader 11 South wall E 44, 05#1, 05#2, floppies, magtape, Star Ring, misc. 13 South wall W 44 expander box 15 West wall #1 2 Gandalfs, 2 Bell modems 17 West wall #2 1 Gandalf, 3 fast modems, clock 19 West wall #3 console terminal 21 West wall #4 nothing Circuit #11 is very clearly overworked, and there is a general shortage of power on the South wall and a surplus on the West. Another item in the list of things we'd do differently if we were renovating all over again! More immediately, Monday backups will run extra-long so we can rearrange some of the power cables. Among other things, we intend to run a cable from #21's outlets (behind the tape cabinet!) to the cpu area.
