Rockwell International Corporation agreed today to pay the
U.S. Government $1.5 damages in a civil suit filed by the
Justice Dept.  The settlement comes out of the three year
investigation by the government into charges that Rockwell
charged work on an Air Force satellite contract to the
space shuttle program.  No criminal charges were levied
due to lack of evidence.
